Foster FAQ's

It’s easy! Just click on the Foster Care Application tab and fill out the form. Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by the PPRA team in your state. Try to give us as much information as you can and please note that we will only contact you if we feel that you may be a suitable foster carer.

If we feel that you may be a suitable foster carer, a PPRA representative will be in contact with you to further discuss the opportunity. If all goes well, a house check will need to be undertaken to ensure your yard has secure fencing and that you will be able to provide the requirements for your foster.
Whilst a pug is in your care, you will be required to transport the pug to one of Pug Patrol Rescue vets, assist in finding the pug a new home through applications we receive, as well as, arranging meet and greets and undertaking home checks.
Yes, all new foster carers will be supported throughout the complete process and our team of experienced foster carers will be available to provide advice and guidance when required.
PPRA will assess your requirements and circumstances and will work with you to determine the most suitable foster.
